I’ve been to Henri’s 3 or 4 times in the past several years, always in the mornings usually Saturday. It’s always incredibly busy the time we go, but not where you would have to wait. Really always had a good experience, good food and service. This day I was driving by the Cafe and was hungry, it was 8 in the evening, still wanted breakfast. I walked in a less busy, not desolate by any means, restaurant like you might do 40 years ago. Sandra greeted me cheerfully and provided excellent service on every level. Christian cooked a perfect mushroom and cheese omelet, hash-browns and buscuit with gravy. It was great. Friendly, great service and food.. what else is there?

I been going here for a while and always order the same thing eggs, bacon, sausage, hash brown, and a homade Belgian waffle. Today I tried the steak and eggs and for 13.99 for a 12oz steak, 3 eggs, potatoes, and choice of bread you can't beat it! This the best breakfast place in Oxnard! The Cranberry orange mimosa is great also!

Long time local favorite restaurant. Their breakfast potatoes are hands down some of the best you can get, nothing frozen or prepared from a plastic bag. Try them in their breakfast burritos. Their wait staff also hustles! My coffee mug was always hot and they brought everything we needed right away.

What would Fathers day be without being taken out to breakfast. Me the wifey and one of my daughters were getting a late start on fathers day and could not find a place with a less than 45 min wait... poor planning on our part. Then we called Henri's and the took our reservation and it was only a 25 min wait and we were 20 mins away We showed up just in time to get seated! SWEET! We ordered of food and it was out pretty fast for as busy as they were. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs all cooked to the perfect crispness and flavor. Elizabeth had the hash and eggs also on point Sam had scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy. the food was good and we all left in a food coma. me thinks we have a new breaky spot

Delicous food and definitely a bang for your buck. Highly recommend the french toast, pancakes, and house fries absolutely amazing. Thank you for attending us at 8pm!

5 stars Henry’s Cafe in Oxnard has been a staple for as long as I can remember—I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. It’s hands down my go-to spot for breakfast. I usually order the steak and eggs, and everything is always cooked to perfection. The steak is tender and flavorful, the egg whites are spot-on, and I’ll often get a side of fruit and sourdough toast to round it out. The prices are more than fair for the quality and portions you get. One of my favorite things about this place is sitting at the counter. You get a front-row seat to the action in the kitchen—watching the cooks do their thing is part of the whole experience. The vibe is always welcoming, and they treat you like family. I always leave full, happy, and already looking forward to my next visit. If you’re in Oxnard or nearby and want a solid breakfast spot, I highly, highly recommend Henry’s. You won’t regret it.
